The Case of Tom Hubbert

The case of Tom Hubbert is extremely important in that it exposes the massive corruption in the VA at every stage of the proceedings, and how the VA is rotten from the Regional Office up.

At the hospital level doctors, and VA Employees have a sincere desire to help America's Veterans, and show the best, and probably the only good, you will see in that agency.

Those individuals deserve great credit.

It is at the Regional Office, and above, that the Department of Veterans Affairs is corrupt beyond repair, and needs a complete overhaul. In fact, most of the VA's Management level personnel, and above, actually belong in prison.

For example, Tom Hubbert, served his country and worked hard all his life. In his later years he became totally disabled with heart problems, and finding a meager Social Security Check not enough to provide for him, and his wife, applied for a VA Non-Service-Connected Pension.

After applying for the Pension he found that the VA did not consider his Honorable Army Discharge to qualify for benefits. The Regional Director had "arbitrarily" decided that Tom Hubbert's Honorable Army Discharge was a bar to benefits.

It should be noted that Tom Hubbert's brother has the EXACT SAME Army Honorable Discharge and was GRANTED benefits by this exact same Regional Office.

So Tom Hubbert has, in the least, been denied Equal Treatment, as demanded by the United States Constitution.
